It does not mean to be in a place
where there is no noise, trouble or
hard work.  It means to be in the
midst of all those things and still
be calm in your heart.

Over the years Michelle has worked with a variety of issues such as: depression, anxiety, life transitions, motherhood, fertility, cancer, grief and loss, relationship issues, trauma, self esteem and family issues.  She is trained in EMDR and uses many different approaches to help clients reach their goals.

Michelle is a wife, a mother of two teenagers, and a a cancer survivor.  Her christian faith, appreciation for anything you can do outdoors (cycling, mountain biking, running, camping, fly fishing) and love of books guide her in making intentional, healthy choices in her life.

It is Michelle's philosophy that we all have the answers we need inside of us.  We can all live  satisfying and emotionally healthy lives even in what may seem to be the darkest of circumstances.  It is our expectations, limiting beliefs, fears, and isolation that build the walls around us, creating barriers to our solutions.  We become fixated on how we believe our lives should be, rather than accepting what we cannot change and focus on what is in our control.  In a safe environment Michelle guides her clients to develop resources that empower them to make their own healing choices.
